Privacy policy

This page says what data the site collects, why, who else handles it, and for how long. It is short because the site does little: no cookies, no analytics, and nothing loaded from third-party servers.

Who controls the data

[por preencher], tax number [por preencher], registered at [por preencher]. For any question about this data, write to geral@kami.pt.

What data is collected

Only what you type into the quote request form: your name, company, email and phone, and the information about the development (name, location, type, number of buildings and units, the pieces you want, the material you already have, the deadline, and any notes you add).

The server also records the IP address of the request, for ten minutes, to limit repeated submissions. It is not kept after that.

There are no cookies, no analytics service of any kind, and the site's typefaces are served from its own domain: your browser makes not a single request to a third-party server.

What it is used for

Only to answer your request and prepare a proposal. It is not used for marketing, it does not go onto any mailing list, and it is neither sold nor passed to anyone.

The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Who else handles it

The request is sent by email through Resend, which handles delivery. It is also posted to an internal Slack channel so the team is notified. The site is hosted on a service that keeps technical logs of requests.

If the email fails to send, the contents of the request stay in the server logs so they are not lost. Those logs are deleted on the host's own schedule.

On development pages with a map, your browser fetches the map tiles from CARTO's servers, which supply the cartography over OpenStreetMap data. That request is made by the visitor's own browser, so CARTO receives the IP address. The map only loads when it comes into view: anyone who does not reach that part of the page makes no request at all.

These services may process data outside the European Union, under the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

For how long

Twenty-four months after our last contact with you. After that, the request is deleted. If a contract is signed in the meantime, the statutory record-keeping periods apply.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to the processing. Just write to geral@kami.pt.

If you believe your data is not being handled as it should be, you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
